MEET THE DESIGNER
GalferDexign is a laboratory of ideas with José Fernández Gallego as master of ceremony. Jose is a car designer with international experience that wanted to bring change to the way we look at things. His unique glasses bring design, modernity, and also awareness about two topics very close to his heart: Bullying and his beloved Extremadura.
Extremadura or the Spanish Siberia is a region in Spain that is beyond beautiful but, at the same time, not too well known. The names of the products are words in the local dialect called “castúo” or “estremeñu”. This is how Chacho, Jigueras, and Cascandito came about.
His designs are so unique, that you can recognize his glasses from the distance. He uses high-quality materials and produces small batches. They also have a social cause behind them. They fight school bullying, together with the Spanish Association for the Prevention of School Bullying aiming to give visibility to the problem and raise funds. For example, all the funds from sales of their mobile cover “Anti Bullying” are destined for the AEPAE.
