Styelle Swim

Charys Caldarella is the founder of Styelle. She had a passion for the protection of our planet and a love for the beach. Her focus is to produce high-quality products that last, with a beautiful fit. The fabrics are printed both digitally and by hand (screen-printed) and they use an incredibly special fabric called Amni Soul-Eco (Fluity Co2) that is biodegradable. Yep! Biodegradable. You read it well.

And before you ask, the answer is no, it will not fall apart in the water just because it's biodegradable. It has to be discarded and will break down once it is treated in landfill.

Biodegradable swimwear boasts an average of 3–5-year life expectancy (depending on where you live and the severity of the conditions) while being 30% biodegradable.

A member of the Ethical Fashion Forum (aka Common Objective), Charys is always looking to further her knowledge. There are no children employed at their production houses. The off-cuts of the materials are donated for art and crafts. The residues and recyclables are separated and collected by Votuporanga’s recycling company.  Taking sustainability a step further, they achieved the carbon-neutral badge by 2020, and have partnered with Upparel to be able to offer circularity.
